32nd Annual ~ Newport Snowsports Swap ~ New & Recycled Gear
Sale: Nov 10-11, 2017, Fri 1-9pm & Sat 9am-5pm

** Our profits directly support education at Newport High School **

The Newport Ski Swap is a very large, long running and well organized community snow sports sales event. It is at Newport High School, Bellevue, WA. Individuals and snowsport shops bring over 10,000 pieces of gear which is placed in 2 gyms, nearly 17,000 sq feet. It is not actually a "swap" but rather a consignment sale. Newport’s PTSA earns much of its funds (over $850,000 since it started in 1986) from this yearly event. The proceeds support unfunded educational needs. It is a fast and fun but huge event and needs many volunteers so don't be shy about volunteering. ** Statistics: 1986 to 2015

2016 Swap (Stats, Customer Email)- We set a high goal of $500,000 and came in at $513,157 before tax, 47.5% above 2015, 33% above 2013, the last highest year. We had 5,792 customers, 3,832 on Friday alone which taxed our processes and systems. We made some changes on the fly Friday and managed to eliminate the huge sales line. We have more changes planned to improve again next year.

A big thank you to all of the Shops and individuals who supplied the gear, to customers who bought gear and endured the early sales line and and to the many volunteers and shop personnel who make the whole thing work. A big big thanks to all involved.

Snow - The 2016/2017 season was Fabuous and 2017/2018 is already shaping up to be fabulous and we will be prepared by putting on a great and big swap. Don't miss it, there is no swap like the Newport Ski Swap.
